Jessie the VW Campervan for hire in Cornwall is a beauty that we are proud to have on the roads of Cornwall.
After having been left to her own devices in a field in West Cornwall for ten years – she was not looking her best at ALL! In fact, we could say she was in a terrible condition, but we saw past the rot and glimpsed a playful van with a sense of humour just waiting to be uncovered.
She is a 1973 Bay Window pop top with an 1800cc engine who runs like an absolute dream. With a classy interior and a stunning rich exterior, driving Jessie around will make you the envy of the camping “glamping” community.
Jessie is fully kitted out for camping and also loves to take Brides and Grooms to their weddings, young people to their proms and make that special moment even more special. She makes a brilliant show-piece and talking point at any event!
Jessie is up for hire at any time of the year – and if you are brave enough to sample the Cornish ocean in January then we are happy to take you on a surf lesson too!
We need to let you know though, driving an old VW like Jessie is a pretty awesome experience, but it is certainly different from driving a modern car! The wonderful Ben gives a great driving lesson when you come to pick up the camper but it may take a little while to get used to how the gears work and where the handbrake is!
Check out Jessie’s luggage and if there is anything we have forgotten make sure to let us know and we can make sure it’s waiting for you when you pick up the campervan.
